In Celebration of Holy Mother's 150th Birthday

Sri Sarada Devi was born on December 22, 1853. According to the custom of counting the first birthday one year after the date of birth, 2003 marks the 150th anniversary of her birth, In Mother's homeland, India, birth anniversaries include the day of birth itself, making this the 151st birth anniversary.
By either count, it is being seen as an auspicious time the world over. As part of year-long celebrations taking place, we have two ways for Children Around the World to leave a Birthday Message. One is by leaving a message and placing a flower on a world map, showing their location. The second way is by posting your message in Holy Mother's Courtyard Forum.
We have learned that placing a flower on the map, unfortunately, requires a java enabled web browser, but all will be able to post a message in
Mother's Courtyard.
To add your flower and birthday wish to the world map:
1. At the end of this list of instructions is a link to a map of the world where flowers are being offered. You will see buttons at the top of the map.
3. Click the location on the map where you want to place your flower.
4. Write your name and birthday greeting in the pop-up box. (Location and email address are optional.)
5. Choose a flower to offer place on the map, as an offering to Mother.
6. You may also choose a national flag. This will appear along with your birthday message when entries are viewed as a List.
7. Click Submit to save your entry and place your flower on the map.
Tips: Move the mouse pointer around the map to read individual messages. To view all messages in a guestbook format click the List button.
